We had the drain plug fall out of our Subaru Outback on the highway in Cromwell on our way from Maine to NYC. Luckily we were close to an exit and were able to get the car parked and turned off before the engine seized up. John got us right in and had the car completely checked out and had us back on the road within an hour.

Taking your car to a shop can be an unpleasant experience due to so many unknowns. I have to say that Route 83 was far from that typical auto repair experience so many of us fear. They were extremely professional, fast and communicated well. In addition, their prices were reasonable. The best part is that Route 83 believed part of the issue with the car was still covered under our power train warranty. Route 83 called the dealer for us, explained the situation and then drove the car to the dealer so my wife didn't have to take the three kids out and I didn't have to miss work...that is service that you don't find often these days in any industry. Hopefully it's a while before we need a mechanic, but when we do, Route 83 will be our choice!
